About Kelly

One foot in sales, one foot in marketing, Kelly Coffey is a professional persuader. Before making the leap to the specialty of sales and marketing copywriting, Kelly was a marketing consultant focusing on helping businesses tap local markets. His sales resume includes both front-line and management experience in retail, service, and B2B sales. He is a speaker, trainer, writer, and lifelong student of the sales process.

Kelly’s history also includes writing for a number of newspapers and magazines. His journalistic resume gives him an edge in doing background research for his copywriting clients. Whether it’s interviewing key salespeople, finding the needs of consumers, or studying the competition, Kelly knows how to get the answers.

For a decade Kelly has stepped away from his computer from time to time to be a ski instructor for the Vail Snowsports School. He belongs to the Snowsports Industries of America and Professional Ski Instructors of America.

He lives in Vail, Colorado with his wife and daughter. When not working on client projects, Kelly makes the most of his hometown by falling off his skis, falling off his mountain bike, and generally enjoying the outdoors.
